Overview

Forklift Sales in Northern Virginia

Dulles Forklifts sells new and used lift trucks to warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturers and contractors across the Dulles corridor. We carry Crown, Clark and Bobcat new, and quality-inspected used equipment from every major make — Toyota, Hyster, Yale, Cat, Mitsubishi and Doosan among them. Carrying more than one line matters: a dealer tied to a single manufacturer recommends that manufacturer for every application. We spec against your load, aisle width, lift height, floor condition, duty cycle and power requirement, then recommend the truck that actually fits the job.

  • Multi-line, so the recommendation follows the application rather than a catalog
  • Used equipment typically 40–60% below an equivalent new truck
  • Local parts and service behind every unit we sell
  • Written quotes against a specific unit, not an open-ended range

What's included

What you get

  • Counterbalance, reach, order picker, pallet jack and telehandler
  • Application review before any quote
  • Trade-in against your existing fleet

How it works

The process

1

Application review

We ask about load weight and dimensions, aisle width, lift height, floor condition, hours per week and whether the work is indoors, outdoors or both. This is the step that decides everything downstream.

2

Spec and options

We put two or three genuinely different options in front of you — usually a new unit and a used one — with the trade-offs stated plainly rather than steering you toward one.

3

Written quote

Firm pricing against a specific unit, including any attachments, and the delivery timeline.

Straight answers

Sales questions

1

Which brands do you sell new?

Crown, Clark and Bobcat. We sell quality-inspected used equipment from all major makes, so a mixed fleet is not a problem — and for a lot of operations a mixed fleet is the sensible outcome rather than a compromise.

2

How do I know what capacity I need?

Rated capacity is not a single number; it derates with lift height and load center. A truck rated 5,000 lb at a 24-inch load center may carry considerably less at 36 inches or at full height. Give us the heaviest load, its dimensions and the highest you need to place it, and we will spec against the derated figure rather than the headline one.

3

Electric or internal combustion?

Indoors, electric almost always — no emissions, quieter, lower running cost, and modern lithium options remove most of the charging constraints that used to favour LP. Outdoors, on rough ground, or in heavy continuous duty, internal combustion still wins. Mixed indoor and outdoor work is the case worth talking through properly.

4

Do you take trade-ins?

Yes. We will assess what you are running and make an offer against the replacement, which usually beats selling it privately once you account for the time involved.
