Battery is the real price
On a used electric the battery is the single biggest hidden cost. Ask for the manufacture date and cycle count, not just truck hours — a tired battery can be a third of what you paid for the machine.
Hours tell you less than you think
A Crown reach truck at 8,000 hours in a clean distribution building is often healthier than one at 4,000 in a dirty one. We look at deck wear, mast chain stretch and the condition of the operator compartment.
Mast and chain wear
